Investing in the African food value chain
Africa continues to face many developmental challenges. One in four people in sub-Saharan Africa suffers from hunger, equivalent to more than 300 million people. And one in three lives below the global poverty line, equaling more than 400 million people.
We aim to change this.
Phatisa is currently investing Phatisa Food Fund 2 - targeting the African food value chain, with the objective of positively impacting food security in the sub-Saharan region.
Food Fund 2 builds on the successes, learnings & investment approaches of our Food Fund 1 and Housing Fund - both of which are fully invested and partially realised.
