Investing in the African food value chain
Africa continues to face many developmental challenges. One in four people in sub-Saharan Africa suffers from hunger, equivalent to more than 300 million people. And one in three lives below the global poverty line, equaling more than 400 million people.
We aim to change this.
Phatisa is currently raising and investing Phatisa Food Fund 3, targeting the African food value chain with the objective of positively impacting food security across sub-Saharan Africa.
Food Fund 3 builds on the successes, learnings and disciplined investment approach of Phatisa Food Fund 2, which is now partially realised, as well as Food Fund 1 and the Housing Fund, both of which are fully invested and partially realised.
