Nooraya is an experienced and successful private equity transactor, who was employed at the Private Equity Division of Rand Merchant Bank (“RMB”). During her time at RMB, she obtained vast experience in the negotiation, implementation and management of private equity and black economic empowerment transactions as well as in mezzanine finance and effective debt structuring. She also served as a director on behalf of RMB on the boards and audit committees of a number of RMB’s investee companies. Nooraya currently serves on the Boards of three listed companies: Liberty Holdings Limited, Delta Property Fund Limited, and Nampak Limited. Locally, Nooraya also serves on the Board of MTNSA (Pty) Ltd. She chairs the remuneration committee at Delta and the GITC at Liberty, in addition to serving on various other committees at these companies.
