Anja Cawood

Head of Sustainability

Anja joined Phatisa’s Sustainability team in 2023, based in Johannesburg. She holds a MPhil (Development Finance) from Stellenbosch Business School. Anja spent the last 11 years of her career advising companies, government and international aid programmes on their sustainability strategies and programmes. Her experience includes strategy development, execution and management of social and environmental programmes, sustainability due diligence, monitoring and evaluation, social and economic impact assessments, sustainability governance and sustainability reporting.
